Bob is the Vice President for Marketing & Communications and has been at Augustana in this capacity since 2006. From 1993-2004, he served the College as Vice President for Enrollment, overseeing admission and financial aid. Between 2004-2006, he worked for The Lawlor Group, a Minneapolis based higher education marketing firm. He earned his BA and MA at Concordia University Chicago.
Kate Campbell

Kate is the Director of Congregational Outreach and Liturgical Arts. She works with area pastors and congregations to provide resources to support their ministries and coordinates the activities of the Augustana College Association. A Concordia College graduate, Kate has taught at St. Olaf and has sixteen years of corporate experience with Wells Fargo Banks. She has been at Augustana since 2007.
Bruce Conley

Bruce is the Director of News & Information. He is the editor of the Augustana Today, and serves as the College's media relations director. Bruce has been at Augustana since 1990. A journalism graduate of South Dakota State University, Bruce wrote for the Sioux Falls Argus Leader prior to coming to Augustana.

Emily is the Director of College Events. She coordinates special events for the campus and community, develops event marketing materials, manages the touring program for The Augustana Choir, and works to infuse the College's brand identity into each event experience. Emily started working at Augustana upon graduation and assumed her current role in 2007.
Brad Heegel '76

Brad serves as the Director of Special Projects and is a Certified Government Meeting Planner. He assists with marketing, conferences, campus events, and music tours. Working with the EROS Data Center, he provides logistical support for local, national, and international meetings and conferences. Brad has been at Augustana his entire career and has held positions as director of admission, director of public events and director of college relations.
Peggy Kapusta

Peggy is the Web Editor and works with the campus community to gather, generate, and update content and assures that the Web site meets established editorial, graphic and navigation standards. Peggy is a 1986 South Dakota State University journalism graduate who was most recently an e-business consultant at Wells Fargo Education Financial Services. She's been at Augustana since summer 2008.
Brian Rieger

Brian is the Logistics Coordinator for the campus and manages major event set-ups on campus and provides logistical and technology support for meetings and conferences. Brian came to Augustana in 2005 after a career with Fuji Film. He has been in his current position since 2006.
Joseph Brown

Joseph Brown is Augustana's Assistant Logistics Coordinator, working with Brian in set-ups and tech needs for meetings and conferences on campus. He is a recent USF graduate who majored in Communications Studies and minored in Business. An ARMY national guard veteran, Joe most recently worked at Hy-Vee and had a brief stint with Bluefire Design Group as a project manager.
Jackie Schmidtman

After an extensive career serving various law offices in Montana, Minneapolis, and Sioux Falls, Jackie began her work at Augustana in 2007 as the Coordinator of Conferences and Scheduling. She is arranging facility use across campus with various academic and administrative departments and off campus rental requests. A native Minnesotan, Jackie graduated from Itasca Community College.
Shannon Viereck '05

Shannon is the Marketing Coordinator. An Augustana communications/ business major, she graduated in 2005. Shannon began her career as a marketing representative with Federated Insurance. She began her responsibilities at the College in January of 2008 and currently performs a variety of marketing tasks, including Web updates, ticket sales, event support and media releases. She is the official College "tweeter and facebooker," sharing information about events and activities at Augustana with alums and other "friends and followers."
