About the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
In July 2015, Augustana announced plans for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a new initiative designed to build strategic partnerships with industry leaders, business heads and curators of creativity.
Led by Dr. Pam Homan '81, the Center will develop collaborations to enhance Augustana’s experiential learning opportunities for students and strengthen connections to the growing and changing needs of the city’s business community.
“The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an idea whose time has come. We’re excited to bring together the intellectual capital of our renowned faculty, the passion and curiosity of our bright students, and the great minds of our city’s business community in order to build a better tomorrow.”
— President Rob Oliver
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship was approved by the Augustana Board of Trustees in alignment with the goals and objectives outlined in Horizons 2019, the University's five-year strategic plan.
