Scholarships

Augustana College students have consistently won many prestigious outside scholarships, including the Spirit of Sioux Falls Award, South Dakota CPA Society Schoarships, and the Sale and Marketing Executives International scholarship competition. The department faculty annually nominate students as recipients of a number of designated scholarships:

Alpha Beta Chi

The business fraternity Alpha Beta Chi works with local professionals to develop management and leadership skills as well as networking contacts.

Students in Free Enterprise

The Augustana College chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) helps make a difference in the community by developing unique, exciting, creative, entrepreneurial projects to meet community needs. Augustana SIFE team members have designed a variety of programs to help explain the pitfalls of using too much credit, to assist entrepreneurs with their business plans, and to alert senior citizens to the dangers of mail fraud.

Society of Human Resource Managers

Students interested in human resources join the student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers.
