Government Department Club (C.O.U.P.S.)

C.O.U.P.S., the slightly mischievous acronym for the Committee of Undergraduate Political Scientists, is the Government Department’s student club. The club’s purpose is to build departmental camaraderie between the students themselves as well as between students and the department’s faculty. The club offers opportunities for fellowship and learning through a variety of activities including games such as “Government Jeopardy,” student presentations, faculty and visitor presentations, movies with political themes, a yearly softball game, and other social occasions.
