MSAT Tuition and Program Fees

Clinical Immersion is one of the Athletic Training requisite classes.

Tuition for the 2018-2019 academic year is estimated at $17,000 for full-time graduate transfer students. Full-time graduate transfer students will be considered for a graduate tutition discount of up to $6,750 per semester. Students enrolled as undergraduate students at Augustana may be allowed to continue their scholarships so that their 5th year costs are similar to their 4th year costs. Tutition payment for fall semester is due August 15 and payment for spring semester is due January 15. Tuition increases approximately three percent (3%) each year. Progression through the program takes 21 months (two academic years). Other expenses include housing and meals, books and supplies, transportation, and personal and miscellaneous expenses. Tuition and an allowance for these expenses make up the Cost of Attendance (COA).

The primary responsibility for financing a graduate education rests upon the student and is an investment in career preparation and personal fulfillment that should yield dividends throughout the student’s life. Students may be eligible for federal loans to supplement their own resources and help cover the COA. The Augustana Athletic Training Program does not offer any assistantships, fellowships, or scholarships other than the tuition discount listed above for those full-time tranfser students. However, you may be able to receive outside financial support from other organizations, such as hospitals or health systems. This type of financial support is handled directly and exclusively by the organizations which offer it.

Immunizations

Sanford Campus Clinic is able to offer the same immunizations/services AND file insurance for students as any health clinic with the added bonus of convenience as it is located on the Augustana Campus.  The following quotes are considered approximate as it is dependent on the plan of care decided between the patient and provider.

Health and Safety Education

Students who do not participate in this annual training through the ATP will be required to participate in this training on their own time.  All costs of annual training outside of the ATP will be the responsibility of the student.
