Dr. Andy Gillham, who works with some of Augustana's sports teams as a Sport Psychology consultant in addition to teaching classes, was recently covered in the local Argus Leader media.

Finest athletic facilities

Augustana has one of the top on-campus athletic complexes in the upper Midwest. Completed in summer 2009, Kirkeby-Over Stadium is located on Augustana’s south campus and provides seating for approximately 7,000 fans. An $11 million facility, Kirkeby-Over is the finest outdoor football stadium in a five-state area. Combine this with Ronken and Bowden Fields (baseball and softball), the indoor Bill Hall Baseball/Softball Complex, the Elmen Center, Hall Football Complex and Sanford Practice Gymnasium, new Soccer Field and a plan for the Larson Track and Field Complex—and the great facilities draw students hoping to benefit from becoming an Augustana College student-athlete.
