Beth Karel, MSN, RN, CHSE
Beth Karel is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and coordinator of the nursing simulation lab. She leads clinical for Adult Health Nursing I and II, along with teaching in multiple course skills labs for both junior and senior level students. Beth also supervises student internship experiences at the senior level during January interim and spring semesters. Her research interests include dimensional analysis for medication dosage calculation, nursing simulation, informatics and palliative care. She maintains practice in the Avera McKennan Intensive Care Unit. Beth received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing education from South Dakota State University.
