SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
Campus Learning Center

The Augustana College Campus Learning Center is currently recruiting for Substitute Head Teachers. These positions could occur in classrooms for children 9 months to 3 years old or in classrooms for 3 to 6 year olds.

The Campus Learning Center is open from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A teaching position could be for a five hour or eight hour shift, and could be for one day or several days in a row.

A Bachelor's Degree is required in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or Special Education.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE REPRESENTATIVE
Business Office

Augustana College is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of a full-time Accounts Payable Representative.

The following skills are needed: general clerical accounting, customer service with outstanding communication expertise, office technology, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

The following knowledge would be helpful, but not required: sales tax, IRS travel reimbursement, independent contractors, 1099 MISC forms, and web based banking programs.

Responsibilities include: review of purchase orders, purchase card reports, and travel vouchers, supervision of work study students, file maintenance and archival for accounts payable records, and cross-training with other areas such as accounts receivable and cashiering.

Post secondary education or prior accounts payable experience is preferred, but not required.

MAIL ROOM COORDINATOR
Central Services

Augustana College is currently accepting applications for a full-time Mail Room Coordinator.  The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The individual will be responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail for the college community; prioritizing and processing bulk mailings; performing account management functions and keeping informed of and enforcing all rules and regulations concerning postal entities.  Applicants must possess excellent communication and customer relation skills, ability to supervise others, work independently, prioritize workload and give attention to detail. Good computer skills are essential along with the ability to multi-task.  

Vocational training or education in accounting, business or related field is preferred.  Postal experience would be helpful, but is not required.

NIGHT CUSTODIAN
Full-time

Augustana College has an opening for a full-time night Custodian. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities include properly cleaning and maintaining building assigned to. Cleaning of floors, windows, walls, desks, and restrooms. Experience with floor equipment a plus. Training provided for the right person. High school graduate or GED a minimum.
