Nancy attended Hamlin High School in South Dakota and is a Business Administration & Management graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University. She has been on the Admission staff since 1991.
Amazing colleagues and Augustana’s great professors and students make this her dream job. In addition to being an Augieholic, she is addicted to chocolate, Coke, and running. Among her most memorable Augustana experiences: traveling to Germany in 2000 and India in 2008 with our Distinguished Scholars.
Adam Heinitz

Adam attended Brandon Valley (SD) High School and graduated with honors from Augustana in 1999. Adam taught fifth grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Fargo for one year and joined the Admission staff in 2000. In 2004, he completed an M.A. in Educational Leadership at the University of Sioux Falls.
Adam and his wife, Sandra '97, are the proud parents of Ella, Maya, and Jake. A former Augustana football player, Adam is a sports enthusiast and especially enjoys watching the Augustana Vikings in action on Saturdays. In his very limited free time, he also likes to hit the road for a run. Augustana has taken Adam many places, including Germany and Great Britain.
Angie Larson

Angie graduated with honors from Augustana in 2001 with majors in business communication and psychology. After graduation, she worked in college admission in Chicago before joining the Augustana admission staff in 2002. Angie is a native of Bismarck, North Dakota.
Angie loves working with prospective students almost as much as she loves her boxer, Floyd. In addition to her admission expertise, she can tell you anything you want to know about dogs, serves as a consultant to the fashion challenged, and has been known to do some matchmaking.

Libby graduated from Augustana in 2008 with majors in Sociology and Psychology. Libby was active in choir and was a New Student Orientation leader. Libby is from Red Wing, Minnesota.
A potter and photographer, Libby likes to express her creativity in her free time. With a new apartment, Libby is enjoying learning to cook and likes to be outside, particularly to take walks on the nearby bike trail that encircles Sioux Falls.
Ben Iverson

Ben graduated from Augustana College in 2004 with majors in International Studies and Spanish. Ben was a pitcher on the Viking baseball team. After graduation he worked as an International Coordinator at Bodoe University College in Norway. Ben is a native of Willmar, Minn. Ben is beginning year two of his Master’s program in International Education at SIT.
So far this adventure seeker has traveled to Spain, Norway, and Nicaragua. Greece with our Distinguished Scholars is on his itinerary for March 2009. Other cultural topics (Minnesota culture, that is) to discuss with Ben are the Minnesota Twins and hunting.

Carley graduated from Augustana College in 2008 with a major in Sport Management. Carley was a standout member of the Viking women's golf team. She is from Brookings, South Dakota.
When asked to list her hobbies, Carley replied simply, "Target." An avid shopper, Carley is always on the lookout for the best deals. Carley also loves watching sports, particularly the Minnesota Vikings. She continues to compete on the amateur golf circuit in South Dakota, as well.

Tresse graduated with honors from Augustana College in 2004 with majors in Professional Accountancy, Business Administration and Computer Information Systems. Tresse completed a Business Education Endorsement from Wayne State College in 2006. She was a member of the women's basketball team at Augustana. Her husband, Joe, is currently an Augustana football coach.
Tresse is from Worthington, Minn. Tresse ran the Sioux Falls Half Marathon last September and in June completed Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth. She recently began roller blading again to add even more variety to her active life.

Alison graduated with honors from Augustana College in 2007 with majors in education, history and social studies. She was also a member of the women's basketball team.
Alison hails from Willmar, Minn. A newlywed, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick ’06, who played football for the Vikings. Alison is an expert on many topics, including history, basketball, and football. To our amazement, she also knows as much about Twins baseball as her colleague, Ben!
Donn Grinager
Director of International Programs

Donn earned his bachelor's degree at Dakota Wesleyan University. Upon graduation, Donn was a member of the Peace Corps and served in Nepal. After earning a Master's degree in religion, he participated in the Japan Exchange Teaching Program. He has been at Augustana since 1992.
Donn and his wife, Kristin, have two daughters, Nicole and Abbie. The entire family enjoys travel, both international and domestic. Last summer they did an intensive Spanish language program in Mexico and previously did a month-long program in Norway. When not working or spending time with his family, Donn can be found biking or playing intramurals (even after two knee surgeries) in the Elmen Center.
