High School Student Information
Each year, approximately 1800 students from nearly twenty-five states and a dozen foreign countries come to Augustana to further their education. Of these, more than ninety percent are recent high school graduates of traditional college age (18-22). A private, Christian, liberal arts school, we attract students who wish their college experience to prepare them not only for a career, but also for life.
Augustana is a residential college, which means most simply that all freshmen, sophomores and juniors live on campus, as do many seniors. It also means that the College is more than just a place where students attend classes—it is a community in which diverse ideas are shared, new experiences and opportunities are frequent, and life-long friendships are formed. We welcome you to consider becoming a part of the Augustana community.
