Transportation

Getting to Sioux Falls from anywhere in the world is easy. The Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) is served by NorthwestDeltaUnited, and Allegiant Air. The International Office at Augustana offers free pick-up service from the airport for new students.

Augustana's central location in Sioux Falls provides students with many options for getting around the city. Many American college students have access to a car and international students often make new friends who can bring them places. International students have occasionally pooled resources to purchase and share an inexpensive car as well.

Sioux Falls has an extensive bike trail system (.pdf) and Augustana Green (an environmental club) has a limited number of bicycles for free use. There is also a metro bus system. Route 2 stops on Augustana's campus and provides connections to other routes throughout the city.

In addition to air travel, Greyhound bus lines provide transportation throughout the region.
