Schedule for Graduation Weekend 2008

May 24-25

Congratulations to members of the Class of 2008 on your upcoming graduation from Augustana College! Thank you for spending the past few years with us and for all that you've contributed to the Augustana community. We wish you the best!

The following information will help you and your families plan for the weekend.

SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEKEND

******Saturday, May 24 ******

9:30 a.m. - Grads report to the Elmen Center to pick up robes. Robe rental is complimentary. You will return them following the graduation ceremony at the Arena. You may keep your hat.

10:00 a.m. - Commencement Rehearsal - Elmen Center. Required for graduates.

11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. - President’s Reception - for grads and families. Visit with President Rob and Angie Oliver at the President's house - 2817 South Grange Avenue.

2:00 p.m. - Nurses’ Pinning Ceremony - Chapel of Reconciliation. For all Augustana Nursing Majors and their families and friends.

******Sunday, May 25******

9:30 a.m. - Grads report to the Elmen Center to form procession for Baccalaureate Worship

10:00 a.m. - Baccalaureate Worship - Elmen Center.

11:00 a.m. - Commencement Brunch - Morrison Commons. Pay at the door.

1:30 p.m. - Grads report to the Sioux Falls Arena
(west foyer behind bleachers).

2:00 p.m. - Commencement Exercises - Sioux Falls Arena. Russell Street and West Avenues. Seating begins at 1:00 p.m.
