The Alumni Achievement Awards are presented each year to Augustana alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, their communities, and/or their
churches. The recipients must be graduates of Augustana College, excel in their careers, and exemplify the values of the College: the Christian faith, the liberal arts, excellence, community and service. Normally, four alumni will be selected each year for this award. Awards are presented at the Alumni Banquet during Homecoming.
The Horizon Award is given to recognize young alumni who have quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement, and have provided faithful service to their community and/or church. The recipients must have graduated from Augustana within the last 15 years, excel in their careers, and exemplify the values of the College: the Christian faith, the liberal arts, excellence, community and service. Normally, one person will be selected to receive this award which is presented at the Alumni Banquet during Homecoming.
The Alumni Service Honor recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions of service to the life and mission of Augustana College through the Alumni Association. The
recipients must be former students of Augustana College and demonstrate exemplary commitment to the work of the mission of the Augustana Alumni Council, and exemplify the values of the College: the Christian Faith, the liberal arts, excellence, community and service. Normally, one recipient will be selected. This award is presented at the Alumni Banquet during Homecoming.
Complete Nominations are due to the Alumni Office by April 1 of each year.
