The pastors, staff, and leaders of the student congregation coordinate worship and support a variety of activities at the Chapel of Reconciliation.

Paul Rohde holds a BA and MA from South Dakota State University. He completed a Masters of Divinity at Luther Theological Seminary and is an ordained pastor in the ELCA. He anticipates earning his Doctorate of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, in May, 2010. Paul also holds a Certificate in Spiritual Director from School Sisters of Notre Dame in Mankato, MN. Prior to coming to Augustana College in 2001, Rohde served congregations in New Ulm, MN; Sioux Falls, SD; and Lake Preston, SD. He has been a leader on the Board of Directors for Holden Village, Chelan, WA, since 1998. Paul and his wife Susan have three daughters. He enjoys reading, hiking, camping, biking, gardening and traveling.
 
Rev. Dr. Ann Pederson

 Ann Pederson, serving as Interim Campus Pastor during 2009-2010, is a Professor of Religion. She is also on the Section of Ethics and Humanities at the Sanford School of Medicine. Her primary academic interests are Lutheran constructive theology, the relationship between religion and medicine, and feminist theology. She earned her BA from Montana State University in music, her Master of Arts in Religious Studies from United Theological Seminary (Twin Cities, MN), and an MDiv, ThM, and PhD from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She has authored three books and many articles for such journals as Zygon, Dialog, Word and World, Currents in Theology and Mission. She is married to Gary Pederson, a band director in the Sioux Falls Public Schools. She enjoys walking her two dogs, reading, eating out with friends, and traveling. She has been at Augustana College since 1990.

Carol has worked at Augustana for over twenty years. She and her husband Dick have two children, both Augie grads. Carol feels it is a true privilege to work with college students as they integrate their faith and learning experiences. Carol loves to read and discuss books and enjoys her pets and 'grand animals.'

 
Kate Campbell

As the Director of Congregational Outreach and Liturgical Arts, Kate Campbell works with area pastors and congregations to provide resources to support their ministries and coordinates the activities of the Augustana College Association. A Concordia College  graduate, Kate holds an MA in Secondary Education from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of South Dakota.  She has taught at St. Olaf and has sixteen years of corporate experience with Wells Fargo Banks. She has been at Augustana since 2007.
 
Marilyn Schempp
Organ and Oboe Instructor

Marilyn Schempp is organist for the Chapel of Reconcilation as well as an organ and oboe instructorat Augustana. She is also the principal organist and assistant music director at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, where she directs a children’s choir and a women’s choir in addition to serving as organist. Marilyn received her bachelor of arts degree from Augustana College in both vocal and instrumental music and her master of music degree in organ performance is from the University of South Dakota.

Shane Wuebben has been Coordinator of Catholic Campus Ministries since the fall 2008.  Shane teaches K-12 vocal music in the Sioux Falls Public School District.  He has been a church musician and liturgist for over ten years.  A music education major at Augustana, Shane graduated in 2004.  Since that time, he has completed a Master of Education at the University of Sioux Falls.  Shane enjoys reading, going to the gym, traveling, and singing with the South Dakota Symphony Chorus.
