Christmas Giving

Every year Augustana students, faculty, staff, and administration collect gifts that are wrapped and taken to local volunteer agencies. This annual tradition helps provide Christmas to many children and families throughout the Sioux Falls Area. In past years, gifts have been provided to Lutheran Social Services, The Heartland House, Children's Inn, Children's Home Society, and the Boys' and Girls' Club of the Sioux Empire.

This year the campus community can look for Christmas Giving trees in residence halls and academic buildings from mid-November until the week before finals in December. Augustana students will be wrapping gifts in the Morrison Commons building during Semester Shutdown, an event celebrating the end of the fall semester.
