So, why should you get involved?
During the 2010-2011 school year, more than 74 percent of the student body participated in one or more intramural events! More than 50 activities are offered each year for people of all skill levels. Intramurals provide a great opportunity to exercise, compete, and meet people.
Who can play?
In order to participate in intramurals, an individual must be an Augustana student, faculty member, staff member, or spouse. (This includes full-time and part-time staff and students.) Different intramural leagues are offered for the highly-skilled, competitive individuals and for those who are simply looking for some exercise and want to play intramurals "just for fun." By offering competitive and recreational leagues for each intramural sport, we provide opportunities for everyone.
