Early Arrival Requests

A number of students must move in early each year for various reasons; athletic and leadership involvement, working on campus, or personal reasons. We encourage you to arrive as close to Opening Day as you can. We are able to provide the best service to you on that day (New Student Orientation, residence hall staff availability, parking and traffic control, and dining options). However, if moving in on Opening Day will not be feasible for you or your family, it is possible that we can work with you to identify an earlier arrival date. This year, Opening Day is Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 8 AM.

Please note that if you need Early Arrival due to participation in a college-sponsored organization (group or team), your coach, advisor, or group leader will be arranging your arrival - you do not need to complete this application.  Visit with your coach, advisor, or group leader for more information about your Early Arrival.

Tell us which building you will be living in this Fall (i.e. Bergsaker Hall, Summit Apartments, Academy House, etc.)

Please provide the room or apartment number of your Fall Housing Location.

Tell us what day you would like to arrive. We don't allow students to request dates before August 26th, due to our needs for transition of Summer Housing and Fall Athletic Campus. If you have legitimate need of moving in prior to Sunday, August 26th, please contact Early Arrivals at earlyarrival@augie.edu.
