The Anthropology minor at Augustana provides the student with a wide spectrum of positive and highly applicable outcomes. The two classes in archeology (Introduction to Archeology and Introduction to Field Methods in Archeology) give the student a level of technical proficiency which enables him or her to perform at a B.A. degree level in both field methods (e.g., site surveying and recording) and laboratory work (e.g., initial artifact processing, cataloging, preliminary analysis of materials).
