The graphic design program prepares students to be marketable in a very wide range of businesses from WEB design companies to advertising agencies. Students are continually interning at regional, national and international companies. An example of recent internship satisfaction by the art director of Keyframe, a subdivision of Daktronics is expressed in the following excerpt from a recent letter to Augustana's art department: "Matt has set the standard quite high for future Keyframe interns. In the seven months he has been employed with Keyframe, Matt has worked with After Effects. 5.0 and Lightwave 7 to complete animations for several big-name clients, such as the New York Islanders, Denver Broncos, Dallas Mavericks, and the Minnesota Wild. The staff at the Broncos new facility were so impressed by Matt's work, they requested that he be flown out to Denver to work with them on the development of more animation."

This program is housed in our brand new Center for Visual Arts building and new equipment includes 12 iMacs and 4' wide format printer.
