An introductory course to printmaking explores two major printmaking processes: intaglio and lithograph. More advanced courses of each process follow the intoductory class. Intaglio I introduces the intaglio processes of etching, aquatint and drypoint. Intaglio II is a continued study of intaglio processes, including color intaglio and photoetching. Lithography I is an introduction to lithography. Lithography II continues the study of lithography processes including color printing and photolitho. An introduction to woodcut printing is also offered.
