The
theatre seats 280 people in a thrust stage configuration.
This is a very unique theatre, featuring some of the best,
most flexible staging opportunities we've ever seen.
Actors can virtually appear from every part of the theatre. |
An upper acting deck (like a
balcony) encircles the entire playing space and audience. There is
also a vomitorium that will allow actors to exit under the seating.
An extensive catwalk system also provides many lighting and special
effects that have never been possible in Augie's long theatre
history.

In addition to the theatre,
there is an acting studio for classes and small-scale productions.
This fully-outfitted black-box theatre also has a wall of mirrors
for dance and actor training. A large scene shop is attached
to the back end of the stage and a bright, sunny costume shop with
dye room is located across the lobby from the theatre.
| On
the lower level there are men's and women's dressing rooms
with restrooms & showers. AND a community make-up room! |
