PRAXIS II INFORMATION & PREPARATION

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT POLICIES RELATED TO PRAXIS II EXAMS

Candidates are required to take AND pass the PRAXIS II Content Exam(s) for all program areas being completed PRIOR to beginning the student teaching experience. Candidates will not be allowed to begin the student teaching experience until passing scores have been received.

Candidates are required to take the PRAXIS II Principles of Learning and Teaching/PLT Exam that best matches their preparation area. PLT scores must be received by the end of the student teaching experience or a grade of INCOMPLETE will be entered.

Beginning FALL 2009, candidates will be required to take AND pass the PRAXIS II Principles of Learning and Teaching/PLT Exam that best matches their preparation area PRIOR to beginning the student teaching experience. Candidates will not be allowed to begin the student teaching experience until passing scores have been received.
