What aspect(s) of the Unit's governance system are working well?

1.	All members are informed, given opportunities to ask questions and present new ideas and information. Very collegial setting.
2.	clarification of goals leadership support for achieving objectives
3.	Maintainance of programs within the guidelines of outside accrediting bodies. Admittance of students to the Teacher Education Program and Student Teaching. Reviewing recommentatinos for changes in courses initiated at the Base Program or Education Department level. Forwarding recommendations to the appropriate council within the college governance system. Processing of petitions for exceptions to established policy regarding admission to the Teacher Education program and to Student Teaching.
4.	I think everyone has a good idea of how and what has to be done. This procedure is good for each department to reflect on their goals and challenges.
5.	I really liked the conversational atmosphere.
6.	The leadership is informative and helpful.
7.	I think the combining of SECC and TEC was a positive move and makes better use of everyone's time.
8.	I really like that there are representatives of other departments than education so that information can be gathered from a wide variety of people that education students come in contact with.
