Arthur R. Huseboe taught for one year at Augustana College from 1956 to 1957, returned to teach in 1961, and has been a full-time professor/administrator ever since.  His teaching and research specialties have been Restoration and Eighteenth-century English literature and, most recently, Western American literature.  He has published several books and articles, including Sir George Etheridge (1985) and An Illustrated History of the Arts in South Dakota (1989).  His Ph.D. is from Indiana University and he was awarded an honorary doctorate for teaching in 1985 (Dana College).  He is currently the Executive Director of the Center for Western Studies and holds the National Endowment for the Humanities Chair in Regional Heritage at Augustana.  Dr. Huseboe is pictured above with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway (left) and Honorary Counsel Howard Paulson (center).
