Students wishing to earn an MA in elementary or secondary education must meet the general requirements for all graduate degrees. In addition, they must possess teaching certification on the elementary or secondary level. Provisional acceptance may be granted if a student needs a minimum number of courses for certification, but these must be completed as a prerequisite to candidacy.
