Augustana College Graduation 2005.

Sioux Falls -- Following commencement ceremonies today, two Augustana graduates will be heading to graduate school in phyiscs. In addition, one physics student will leave the department after three years to continue his dual-degree engineering studies at Washington University in St. Louis.

Kelsie Betsch graduated with summa cum laude distinction and majors in physics and chemistry. She begins graduate study in physics at the University of Virginia. She is the daughter of Patricia and Leigh Betsch.

Nora Johnson earned a physics minor along with majors in chemistry and mathematics. Johnson graduated with magna cum laude distinction and was awarded the Timothy R. Donoghue Graduate Scholarship in physics by Kansas State University, where she will attend graduate school. She is the daughter of Diane and Lawrence Johnson.
