Physics is the most basic and fundamental of the physical sciences and thus is particularly suited to serve as a solid basis for many career options. The unique set of technical, computational, communication, and investigative skills acquired from a background in physics makes physics graduates very desirable for a wide range of employers, ranging from research and development and medicine to the legal and financial sectors. The Physics Department at Augustana provides Bachelor of Arts degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics.
