The Pine Ridge Retreat Center is located in the center of the town of Pine Ridge, South Dakota on Hwy 18. It is immediately across the street from Taco John's.
From the north (Kadoka, SD area)
From Interstate 90, go South on Hwy 73 to Hwy 18. Go west on Hwy 18 to Pine Ridge.
From the south (Chadron, NE area)
Take Hwy 20 east to Rushville, NE. Turn north (left) on Hwy 87 to Pine Ridge.
From the east (Sioux Falls,SD area)
From Interstate 90, go to Kadoka and go South on Hwy 73 to Hwy 18. Go west on Hwy 18 to Pine Ridge.
From the west (Rapid City, SD area)
Take Hwy 79 south to Hwy 18 east to Pine Ridge.
In winter weather, drivers are encouraged to check in advance for road conditions.
The closest airport for domestic flights is in Rapid City, South Dakota. It is served by Northwest Airlines, Delta, United, and Frontier Airlines. If a group is planning to fly in, participants are encouraged to cluster their flights so that arrival times and departure times are as close together as possible (if not the same). Advanced contact with Larry Peterson will enable him to make one trip to pick up a group. Groups are encouraged to arrive no later than 3:00 p.m. (and depart no earlier than 10:00 a.m.) since the return by vehicle is a two-hour drive (100 miles). If flight connections prevent this, participants will be responsible for their own overnight accommodations in Rapid City until the predetermined pick-up date.
