As Sociology faculty members, we are enthusiastic about the value of Sociology as a discipline and the perspective it offers on the world. We each have different specialty areas within Sociology, ranging from global issues (such as international politics) to the concerns of everyday life (family, gender, racism, aging, crime, etc.). Our department is made up of three of us (listed below). The three of us are available for advising, consultation, or casual interaction. Modest group size is an advantage in getting to know each other.
We are proud of Augustana's mission both within and outside of the classroom, and of the quality education we offer as a challenge to students as they frame goals for themselves and their futures.
