Finals Week Hours

During Finals Week, Augustana encourages students to take advantage events and resources including Semester Shutdown, Midnight Madness, the Bookstore sale and extended hours at the Mikkelsen Library and Elmen Center.

Rendezvous Presentation on Pakistan

Students present on their various home countries at 3 p.m. (4 p.m. during J-Term) on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.

Listen to orchestra students in grades 9-12 following their participation in the 2015 ARCO Festival in a Finale Concert at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Third Sunday Archeology: "The First Shamans of North America"

January's installment of Augustana's Third Sunday Archeology Program will feature speaker Dr. Frederic Sellet, assistant professor of anthropology at University of Kansas, Lawrence on the topic “The First Shamans of North America: Archaeological Evidence of Paleoindian Rituals” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Gilbert Science Center Auditorium (GSC #100).

The Center for Western Studies will present an oral history workshop featuring Jessica Neal and Sam Herley of the South Dakota Oral History Center (University of South Dakota), at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21.
