  • 20th Annual Augustana Sam Milanovich Golf Tournament

    The Augustana Sam Milanovich Golf Tournament supporting endowed scholarships awarded to student-athletes will be Friday, June 8, at Willow Run Golf Course.

  • Summer Scholar Camp at Augustana

    Over evening sessions starting June 7, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

  • Summer Conferences and Events

    During the summer, Augustana is home to numerous conferences, camps, and events. This week's events include camps for students learning Norwegian and French.

  • May 17-19: 2012 Commencement Weekend

    Celebrate with the Augustana College Class of 2012 during Commencement Weekend. Festivities start on Thursday, May 17, leading up to the Commencement Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, at the Sioux Falls Arena.

  • May 17: Syttende Mai Celebrations

    On Thursday, May 17, Syttende Mai celebrations — commemorating Norwegian Constitution Day — will feature exhibits, Norwegian food and games at First Lutheran Church in downtown Sioux Falls. The event begins at 4:30 p.m.

  • May 10-12: ACTS Presents 'Dog Sees God'

    Augustana College Theatrical Society (ACTS) presents its last show of the season, "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead," an unauthorized parody based upon the popular comic strip, Peanuts, at 7:30 p.m. on May 10-12 in the Mary Hart Acting Studio. The play deals with mature themes that may not be suitable for all audiences.

  • May 10: College/Community Band to Premier Commissioned Work

    The Augustana College/Community Band, under the direction of Dr. Paul Schilf, presents its last concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, in the Elmen Center. The concert will feature the world premiere of "Irish Fanfare" by Quincy C. Hilliard, a work commissioned by the Band in loving memory of Erik Ferguson, a former member of the Band and euphonium player.

  • May 8: Concerto-Aria Concert Features Orchestra and Band

    The annual Concerto-Aria Concert will feature performances by the four student winners of the Augustana Concerto-Aria Competition. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, at the Washington Pavilion’s Mary W. Sommervold Hall.

  • May 6: Spring Choral Concert Salutes American Music

    The Augustana Choir, Angelus and The Collegiate Chorale join forces for their Spring Choral Concert, "A Salute to American Music," at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church. The concert will feature a number of works from American composers.

  • May 3-5: Theatre to Debut "Our Town"

    Directed by senior Laura Foiles (Brookings, S.D.), Thornton Wilder’s heartwarming classic "Our Town" has been called "the greatest American play ever written." It debuts at 7:30 p.m. in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre April 26-28 and May 3-5.
