SIOUX FALLS – Augustana Professor Bob Wright is concerned about the size of the U.S. national debt.

For that reason, Wright, the Nef Family Chair of Political Economy, invited the Concord Coalition to examine the situation with members of the Augustana and Sioux Falls communities.

At 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, Sara Imhof of the Concord Coalition will show a movie in the Morrison Commons Back Alley titled “I.O.U.S.A.” The film addresses the U.S. national debt and government budget deficit and what they mean for American citizens. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

The program is free and open to the public.

The Concord Coalition is a non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to educating the public about the causes and consequences of federal budget deficits, the long-term challenges facing America's unsustainable entitlement programs, and how to build a sound foundation for economic growth.
