Luther House of Study and South Dakota Synod ELCA host this workshop on ministering to the needs of deployed military personnel and their families. Both clergy and laypeople are invited to attend.

    • “Whether Soldiers too Can be Saved”- Dr. Chris Croghan
  • 1:30-Focus on Families
    • State Readiness Coordinator
  • 2:30-Break
  • 2:45-Panel Discussion
    • Military chaplains and clinicians from Veterans Administration
    • Specific health, psychological, and relationship issues and the role Chaplain play in the field and on the home front.
  • 4:00-Worship
    • Led by military chaplains
  • 4:30-Adjourn for dinner hour

  • 6:45-Panel Discussion
    • Chaplains and families give narratives and testimonies about their personal experiences in the field and at home and ministry in the midst of those situations
