Faculty Authors Host Book Signing During Viking Days

In celebration of our Sesquicentennial anniversary, many of Augustana's faculty authors will be signing books outside the Morrison Commons Concourse on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Help celebrate Augustana's anniversary by stopping by on your way to the game.
The seven authors taking part include:
- Dr. Geoffrey Dipple, Professor, Department of History
- Dr. Sherry Feinstein, Associate Professor, Department of Education
- Dr. Patrick Hicks, Associate Professor, Department of English, and Augustana Writer-in-Residence
- Dr. Jeffrey Miller, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of English
- Dr. David O'Hara, Assistant Professor, Department of Religion, Philosophy and Classics
- Dr. Richard Swanson, Professor, Department of Religion, Philosophy and Classics
- Dr. Robert Wright, Nef Family Chair of Political Economy and instructor on business, economics, history, and government
Signing will wrap up at 12:30 p.m. to allow everyone to get seated at the Viking Days football game (Kirkeby-Over Stadium) before the 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the Northern State University Wolves. Tickets ($10/adults, $5/children) are available at www.augietickets.com.
