Mathematics on the Northern Plains Undergraduate Conference
Augustana is hosting the 12th annual Mathematics on the Northern Plains Undergraduate Conference on Saturday, April 16. At this conference, undergraduates have an opportunity to present results of their mathematical research or projects. Activities include student presentations, an invited talk, lunch, a Math Quiz Bowl, and a discussion about Opportunities in Mathematics.
Math on the Northern Plains Undergraduate Conference was established in the spring of 1999 by Assistant Professor Zsuzsanna Szaniszlo and Dr. Daniel Schaal at the University of South Dakota with a grant from Exxon.

Due to the funding for this conference provided by NSF grant DMS-0846477 through the MAA Regional Undergraduate Mathematics Conferences program, and the generosity of the Augustana College Department of Mathematics, there will be no registration fee for this event.

Be sure to pack your directions to the Augustana College campus. The conference will be taking place in the Gilbert Science Center, which is #23 on this campus map. Free parking is available adjacent to the Gilbert Science Center.
