Midwest Conference on Deaf Education to be held July 11-12
Augustana College is hosting the Midwest Conference on Deaf Education, July 11-12. Registration is now closed. Registration was $110 for returning participants, $120 for new participants, and $60 for parents and students.
Keynote and concurrent workshop presentations
Amy Rowley is a keynote speaker. Other speakers and workshop presenters include Dr. Karen Ewing, Todd Czubek, Dr. Petra Horn Marsh, Dr. Perry Hanavan, Hillary Hardin, Sheri Cook and Christine Multra Kraft. Learn more detail about the presenters and their presentations on the speakers page.
Film Showing
The Conference will feature a showing of the ASL Films’ Gerald, which won the Best Narrative award at the recent World Deaf Cinema Festival in November 2010.
Credit
One semester hour of credit from Augustana College, either undergraduate or graduate, will be available for an additional $50. CEU credit will also be available.
Lodging
A limited number of dorm rooms are available on campus. There are also a variety of hotel options that are within 10 minutes of campus and offer an Augustana discount, depending on availability.
