First Exhibition of Academic Year to Feature Works by Faculty Artists

Times: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays

Location: The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery in the Center for Visual Arts on the Commons Circle off 30th St.and Grange Ave.

Recent works by Augustana art faculty members will be featured in the "Augustana Faculty Biennial Exhibition," the first exhibition of the academic year at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. The exhibit runs from Friday, Sept. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 8. An opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on September 9. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

This diverse show features both two- and three-dimensional pieces and includes oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, sculpture, original prints and photography by  faculty artists Jayne Erickson, Scott Parsons, John Peters, Gerry Punt, Tom Shields, Steve Thomas, and emeriti faculty Robert Aldern (in memoriam) and Carl Grupp.

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is located on Commons Circle (30th Street and Grange Avenue), in the Center for Visual Arts at Augustana College. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and Noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The gallery is open to the public and free of charge.
