Rendezvous: IPO Film Fest

Students present on their various home countries at 4 p.m. on Fridays as part of the Rendezvous Program. The events, which are hosted by the International Program Office and Augustana International Club, are free and open to the public.

Third Sunday Archeology: Village Life on the Upper Missouri

January's installment of Augustana's Third Sunday Archeology Program will feature speaker Jay Sturdevant, archeologist at the National Park Service's Midwest Archeological Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Sturdevant's discussion on Village Life on the Upper Missouri: the Archeology and History of the Hidatsa will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, at the Froiland Science Complex 113A/B (formerly GSC 100).

A Winter's Tale: A Visible Reality

A Winter's Tale is hosted by the Augustana Library Associates

"A Winter’s Tale: A Visible Reality" is set for Sunday, Jan. 28, and will feature Dr. Sandra Looney, professor of English, as the mistress of ceremonies for a program of literature and music.

Experience Expo

Experience Expo at Augustana University

The Augustana Student Success Center is hosting an Experience Expo from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, in the Elmen Center. Students will have the opportunity to learn about study abroad, volunteerism, on-campus employment and leadership opportunities. Attendees will also have a chance to visit with more than 50 area employers about internship and career opportunities.

Third Sunday Archeology: The 'Audacious' Children of Africa

February's installment of Augustana's Third Sunday Archeology Program will feature speaker William J. Hunt Jr., retired archeologist for the Midwest Archeological Center, on "The 'Audacious' Children of Africa and Their Circuitous Route to Nebraska" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.

Theatre: Claire Donaldson New Play Festival

Opera Theatre

Augustana Performing and Visual Arts will host the Claire Donaldson New Play Festival at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, through Saturday, Feb. 24, in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.. The Festival features student-written plays. Tickets purchased for one night are good for all three nights.
