April 13: Orchestra, Schempp Concert to Celebrate 50-Year-Old Schlicker Organ

The Augustana Orchestra and organist Marilyn Schempp, instructor of organ and piano at Augustana, will perform Handel's Organ Concerto no. 13 in F "The Cuckoo and the Nightingale" as the final celebration concert for the 50th anniversary of the Schlicker Organ to be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 13, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Schempp will also be joined by Wyatt Smith, an organ student at the University of South Dakota, in Gustav Merkel's Sonata in D Minor for Organ with four hands and the Augustana Orchestra will perform Haydn's Symphony no. 104 "London."
The concert is free of charge.
