In honor of “South Dakota 2014 Art Exhibit and Sale: Observing the State's 125th Anniversary," a Center for Western Studies juried art exhibit and sale of original works of art by current and past residents observes the state's 125th anniversary of statehood.
Augustana will host 150 of the top high school vocalists from around the state during the 41st annual South Dakota High School Honor Choir, set for July 27 to August 1 on campus. The week-long event will conclude with a finale concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at O’Gorman High School's Lorang Theatre. Tickets are $10 (cash or check only) and will be available at the door beginning at 6 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and all seating is general admission.
Summer is the perfect time to road trip to Augustana! A panel of faculty and students are available to share insight and respond to questions, student ambassadors will show you the campus, and we will treat you to lunch.
The Augustana football program will host its ninth annual women's football clinic on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Kirkeby-Over Stadium and the Fellows' Presidential Residence. A portion of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery will present Transitory Memory: Paintings by Donald Johnson (’09) Thursday, Sept. 4 - Saturday, Oct. 2, 2014, a gallery reception is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26.
Join us for the first Vikings football home opener on Saturday, Sept. 13, when Augustana hosts Minnesota Duluth at 1 p.m. at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.
