Gallery Features Xavier Tavera: 'Stills and Motion'

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University will feature an exhibit by Xavier Tavera.

"Stills and Motion," a new exhibit featuring the works of photographer Xavier Tavera will open on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Augustana's Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. A reception is set for 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, with an artist's talk beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Theatre: The Life and Legacy of Frederick Douglass

In honor of Black History Month, the Augustana Diversity and Inclusion Office presents "Frederick: The Life and Legacy of Frederick Douglass" at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, and again at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.

This one-man show performed by Dr. Robin Duncan tells the story of Frederick Douglass' journey from a slave to a 19th-century American hero.
