Join the Augustana choral ensembles, the Augustana Orchestra and the Roosevelt High School Concert buy ticketsChoir as they present a concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Washington Pavilion.

Entitled “Visions of Peace,” the concert celebrates the recent awarding of the 2013 Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway on Oct. 11. The event features The Augustana Choir, directed by Dr. Paul Nesheim; Collegiate Chorale, directed by Dr. Russell Svenningsen; Angelus, directed by Dr. Lisa Grevlos; the Roosevelt High School Concert Choir, directed by Robyn Starks Holcomb; and the Augustana Orchestra, directed by Dr. Christopher Stanichar.

The Augustana Choir will present Charles Ives’s “67th Psalm,” “Prayer of St. Francis” and “Battle of Jericho.” The Collegiate Choral will perform “When David Heard” by Thomas Tomkins and “Let Me Fly,” arranged by Robert DeCormier. The Angelus Choir will present “Pastir Dobri” (The Good Shepherd) by Ivan Bozlcevic and “Amani (A Song of Peace)” by Jim Papoulis. Finally, the four choirs and the Augustana Orchestra will join together in J.S. Bach’s “Dona Nobis Pacem.”

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and are free to students K-12 and those with an Augustana ID. Tickets are available at www.washingtonpavilion.org.
