Augustana Presents Plain White T's and Parachute
Augustana will host Grammy-nominated pop-rock quintet Plain White T's and pop-rock band Parachute on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Washington Pavilion. California-based Tommy and the High Pilots will open the show.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. event, organized by the UBG Big Event Committee.

Those who purchased tickets for the Monday, Nov. 18, concert date and cannot attend the rescheduled concert on Tuesday, Nov. 19, should contact the Washington Pavilion box office at 605.367.6000.
Tickets for the general public are $35 plus fees and tax. Tickets for Augustana students who chose the "Opt-In" feature are $17.50 plus fees and tax ($27.50 plus fees and tax for non-opt-in).
The Chicago-based Plain White T's have had two Grammy nominations and wrote and recorded three No. 1 radio hits – "Hey There Delilah," "1,2,3,4" and "Rhythm of Love." The band’s newest EP was released on April 9 and includes four songs, “Should’ve Gone to Bed,” “The Giving Tree,” “Helium” and “Haven’t Told Her.”
Parachute is an American pop band from Charlottesville, Virginia. Since 2006, they have been touring and promoting their music, releasing their major label debut album Losing Sleep in 2009 and sophomore album The Way It Was in 2011. The band's third album, Overnight, was released on August 13, 2013.
The Augustana Big Event planning committee works each year to bring a big-name musical artist to Augustana’s campus. Past Big Event artists include: Ben Folds, O.A.R., Widespread Panic, Third Day, Raining Jane, Goo Goo Dolls, Sara Bareilles, Phillip Phillips and, most recently, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
