The Rev. Dr. Monica Coleman will give a public lecture followed by a Q&A on the topic of her new book, "Bipolar Faith: A Black Woman's Journey with Depression and Faith" at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, in the 3-in-1 room of Morrison Commons. This lecture is sponsored by Augustana's Department of Religion, Philosophy and Classics and the Thomas Staley Foundation.
Dr. Coleman is a professor of constructive theology and African-American religions at Claremont School of Theology, the co-director for the Center for Process Studies at Claremont and is ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Dr. Coleman has previously presented at Augustana University.
