In conjunction with the 10th annual Lighting the Way Autism Conference, Augustana will host a free public showing of the film “Temple Grandin,” a 2010 biopic starring Claire Danes as Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who revolutionized the cattle industry through her innate sensitivity and understanding of animal behavior.
The showing, sponsored by Augustana’s FRIENDSLink, will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, in the Froiland Science Complex.
Seating is limited to the first 150 people.
