The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery will present Jeffrey Oestreich: Ceramics beginning Thursday, Sept. 10, through Saturday, Oct. 10.
A gallery reception is set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
About the Artist
Jeff Oestreich creates his functional wares from his home studio in Taylor’s Falls, Minnesota, a host site on the annual St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour. Oestreich studied art and ceramics at Bemidji State University and the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Following that, he was an apprentice at The Bernard Leach Pottery from 1969 - 1971. He has been an artist-in-residence and instructor at such institutions as Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina; The Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina; and Anderson Ranch School of Crafts in Snowmass Village, Colorado; among others. He is a recipient of a McKnight Ceramic Artist Fellowship, through Northern Clay Center, a Jerome Foundation Travel and Study Grant, and a Minnesota State Arts Board Assistance Fellowship Grant.

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is located on Commons Circle in the Center for Visual Arts at Augustana College. The gallery is open to the public and free of charge. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday noon to 5 p.m. Closed Sundays.
