• Sept. 21: Game Day Visit

    Prospective students are invited to experience the Augustana campus and Viking Athletics at the football game against Bemidji State on our Game Day Visit. Prior to cheering on our football team in Kirkeby-Over Stadium, you can learn about Augustana, take a campus tour, and join us for some tailgating.

  • Sept. 19: Speaker to Discuss Voting Rights

    Bret Healy, a consultant for Four Directions, a voting rights advocacy organization headquartered in South Dakota, will speak on  "From Selma to Shannon County – the Fight for Voting Rights Continues," at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, in room 103 of the Madsen Center.

  • Sept. 17: Celebrating the U.S. Constitution

    In celebration of the U.S. Constitution, join Dr. Joel Johnson, associate professor of Government and International Affairs and the Stanley L. Olsen Chair of Moral Values, in discussing "The Lasting Forms of Revolution:  On the Constraining Power of Declarations of Independence" at 3 p.m. in the Madsen Center, room 201.

  • Sept. 15: Adjunct Faculty Recital - John Casey, Bass

    Augustana Bass Instructor John Casey presents a Faculty Recital at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, in Kresge Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public. 

  • Sept. 14: Claire Donaldson New Play Festival

    The Augustana Department of Performing and Visual Arts will host the Claire Donaldson New Play Festival at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre. The Festival features student-written plays.

  • Sept. 9: Chapel Organ 30th Anniversary Celebration

    Please join us as we celebrate the history of our chapel organ at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Chapel of Reconciliation. The event features performances by Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer '84.

  • Sept. 7: Saturdays at CWS to Feature Historic Photos of Dakota Territory

    "Dakota Territory in Photos," a discussion by historic photo collector Robert Kolbe, is planned for the “Saturdays at CWS” workshop set for noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Sept. 6: Closing Reception Student Invitational Show

    The closing reception for the Augustana Student Invitational is set for 5-6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, in the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery in the Center for Visual Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Sept. 6: Twilight Meet at Yankton Trail Park

    The 2013 cross country season opens on Friday, Sept. 6, at Yankton Trail Park, where Augustana will host the third annual Augustana Twilight competition beginning at 8 p.m. under the lights of the soccer fields.

  • Sept. 4: Convocation to Open 2013-14 Academic Year

    Augustana will mark the beginning of the 2013-14 academic year at Opening Convocation, set for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Convocation will recognize the 2013-2014 Sophomore Honors award recipients.
