    Greenfest, an event organized by Augie Green, will feature lawn games on the Campus Green, bike rides, an environmentally-friendly meal in Morrison Commons and a panel discussion on "How Then Shall We Live: A Well-Rounded Approach to Environmental Living."

  • Augustana to Present Palm Sunday Concert

    The Augustana Choir and the Augustana College & Community Orchestra will present a special Palm Sunday performance featuring Howard Hanson’s “Romantic” Symphony and Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

  • Gala Event Planned to Celebrate Sesquicentennial

    'The Spark,’ is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Washington Pavilion. The evening will feature life-size historical photo galleries, food and drink buffets, presentation of the “Spirit of Augustana Awards,” a movie premiere and music and dancing at the Sesquicentennial Ball.

  • Mathematics on the Northern Plains Undergraduate Conference

    To be held on campus, the 12th annual Mathematics on the Northern Plains Undergraduate Conference on Saturday, April 16, includes student presentations, a Math Quiz Bowl and a discussion about Opportunities in Mathematics.

  • Augustana Graduate to Debut New Film in Sioux Falls

    "You Don't Know Bertha Constantine," a film written and directed by Andrew Kightlinger, class of 2008, and starring Dr. Julia Pachoud Bennett, former assistant professor of Theatre, will make its world premiere at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15, at the Washington Pavilion.

  • Library Associates to Host Book Sale April 14-15

    The Augustana Library Associates' Books and More Sale is set for April 14-15 at the Center for Western Studies. A large selection of books, videos, CDs, DVDs and more will be available, including books and videos for children.

  • Poetry Reading Set for April 14

    Christine Stewart-Nuñez will conduct a poetry reading at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, on the campus of Augustana College in the Center for Visual Arts Atrium. A book signing will follow the reading.

  • 'Sonic Possibilities' to Feature Los Angeles-Based Percussionists

    Los Angeles percussion masters Brad Dutz and Chris Wabich will perform “Sonic Possibilities for Two Percussionists” at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, in Kresge Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

    Dr. Anne M. Butler's discussion, “Placing Nuns Inside the Women's West: Convent Archives and Academic Research,” will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, in Augustana’s Gilbert Science Center, room 100. The event is free and open to the public.
