  • Feb. 14: Explore Augustana

    Prospective students and their parents are invited to "Explore Augustana" for a day designed to acquaint them with the variety of academic and student life opportunities at Augustana through student and parent sessions, a campus tour, faculty discussions and time to discuss the College's scholarship and financial aid programs.

  • Feb. 13: Speaker on Islam Theme Topic of "Idolatry and Iconoclasm: Historic Mecca Vanishes"

    Join us on Thursday, Feb. 13, to hear Dr. Joseph Dondelinger give a talk titled "Idolatry and Iconoclasm: Historic Mecca Vanishes" as part of Augustana’s International Theme of “Islam in our Community, Past and Present.”

  • Feb. 13: Former U.S. Senator Larry Pressler to Speak on Campus

    The Augustana College Republicans will host former U.S. Senator Larry Pressler for a discussion on “Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, or Otherwise: What Should a Young Person in 2014 Choose to Be?” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, in Madsen Center's room 201.

  • Feb. 8: The Augustana Choir at St. Joseph Cathedral

    Following its Interim tour with stops in Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota, The Augustana Choir, under the direction of Dr. Paul Nesheim, will perform a home concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Sioux Falls.

  • Feb. 7: Augustana Band Interim Tour Home Concert

    The Augustana Band, under the direction of Dr. Paul Schilf, will play six performances during its Interim 2014 tour of Minnesota, including a community-wide concert at the Harrisburg Performing Arts Center in Harrisburg, S.D., on Friday, Feb. 7.

  • Through March 7: "Into The Dark" Gallery Exhibit

    A touring gallery exhibit for "Into the Dark: Artists Exploring Dark Matter," featuring works by 22 artists in a range of media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media runs through Friday, March 7, in the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery.

  • Feb. 2: "A Winter's Tale: Unveiling Moments"

    "A Winter’s Tale: Unveiling Moments" is set for Sunday, Feb. 2, and will feature Dr. Sandra Looney, professor of English, as the mistress of ceremony for a program of literature and music.

  • Jan. 28: Watch the "State of the Union" Address

    The Augustana College Republicans will host a viewing of President Barack Obama's "State of the Union" address at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the Back Alley. The event is free and open to the campus community.

  • Jan. 25: Sounds of South Dakota to Present "Die Fledermaus"

    Dr. Lisa Grevlos, associate professor of Music, is artistic director for Sounds of South Dakota's concert production of "Die Fledermaus" at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, in Augustana's Kresge Recital Hall.

  • Jan. 19: Third Sunday Archeology on "Up the Wadi Without a Paddle"

    January's installment of Augustana's Third Sunday Archeology Program will feature Dr. Kimball Banks presenting "Up the Wadi Without a Paddle; The Archeology of Wadi Kubbaniya 30 Years Later" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Gilbert Science Center Auditorium (GSC #100).
