    Commencement events honoring the Class of 2013 will be held May 23-25 on campus. Learn more about the President's Social, Senior Celebration, the Reception for Civitas Graduates, the Nurse Pinning Ceremony, Baccalaureate and the Commencement Ceremony.

  • Summer Scholar Camp at Augustana

    Over afternoon sessions starting June 4, high school students of all ages will learn by focusing on relevant and compelling topics, rigorous content and test/college preparation. Space is limited; register today.

  • Third Sunday Archeology Program

    The Third Sunday Archeology Program for February 21 is titled “New Perspectives on the Glenwood Culture: A Central Plains Tradition Complex in the Loess Hills of Southwest Iowa.” The program begins at 2:00 p.m. in Gilbert Science Center, room 100.

  • Art Show & Sale Features 23 Regional Artists

    The artwork of twenty-three local and regional artists will be exhibited in Sioux Falls February 19-21 during the 30th annual Artists of the Plains Art Show and Sale sponsored by the Center for Western Studies at Augustana College.

    The 24th Annual Augustana Athletic Club Auction is Friday, February 19, at the Sioux Falls Ramkota Inn Exhibit Hall. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the live auction begins at 8:45 p.m. Get a sneak peek at the auction items that benefit scholarships for Augustana student-athletes.

  • Faith Fest 2010: "Healing Hunger, Breaking Bread"

    Augustana will welcome high school youth to Faith Fest on Saturday and Sunday, February 13 and 14, 2010. Youth and their adult leaders are invited to campus for a weekend of music, presentations, Bible study, worship, games and recreation.

  • Augustana Youth Cheerleading Clinic

    The Augustana Youth Cheerleading Clinic will be held February 13 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m, with a Valentine's Day theme. Cost is $25.00 per child, open to children ages 5-12 years old. The participants will perform at the half time of the women’s game at roughly 5:30 pm.

  • "Jesus, Justice, Jazz: The Tour" Comes to Augustana

    "Jesus, Justice, Jazz: The Tour" promises to inspire listeners on Saturday, February 13. Hear Agape (David Scherer) and Rachel Kurtz at this fund-raising concert in the Morrison Commons Dining Room from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

  • “Axum: The Artwork of Eyob Mergia"

    “Axum: The Artwork of Eyob Mergia” opens at Augustana College’s Eide/Dalrymple Gallery on Thursday, February 11, and runs through March 12. An artist’s reception will be held at the gallery on Friday, February 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

  • 2010 Sioux Falls Winter Open Chess Tournament

    The 2010 Sioux Falls Winter Open Chess Tournament will be held on the Augustana campus on Saturday, February 6. The event is co-sponsored by the Sioux Empire Chess Foundation (SECF) and the Augustana College Chess Club.

  • Home Concerts for Augustana Band and Choir

    The Augustana Band and The Augustana Choir will both present a home concert, concluding their 2010 interim tours. The band will perform on Friday, February 5, while the choir will hold their home concert on Saturday, February 6.

  • Twins Winter Caravan coming to Elmen Center

    The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan, featuring outfielder Denard Span, pitcher Jeff Manship, and Twins broadcasters John Gordon and Bert Blyleven along with Twins mascot T.C. Bear , will be stopping at the Elmen Center on Tuesday, January 26.
